Centres, programs, research groups and units
Through a process of membership consultation, research groups at the the O'Brien Institute for Public Health have been created to facilitate research activities within the Institute by concentrating expertise and interest within functional units in named topics.
These groups are rooted in member inclusiveness and networking.
Research group development is ongoing, and the intent is to retain the flexibility to accommodate future additions and mergers. The early activities of the groups will help develop appropriate guidelines that strike the balance between self-determination and Institute involvement.
