Department of Community Health Sciences Strategic Focus Areas

The Department of Community Health Sciences may partner with the O’Brien Institute in Catalyst awards to primary, cross-appointed, or adjunct members of CHS.

Alignment of the proposed early stage, catalytic project with one or more of the three strategic focus areas of CHS (pursuing meaningful research, reimagining education, creating with community) can be explained in Section C.3 of the O’Brien Catalyst application template, and indicated in the appropriate check box on the template’s first page.

The CHS-supported Catalyst opportunity aligns with the goals and criteria of the generic O’Brien Catalyst process noted on the main page (catalysis of new, early-stage projects; same application template; same funding and project length limits; same submission deadline; same adjudication and decision process; same required reporting, etc.)
