PH&P
The Population Health and Prevention (PH&P) Research Interest Group brings together over 50 O'Brien Institute members and affiliates, with diverse primary appointments: Cumming School of Medicine (Dept. of Pediatric, CHS, CRDS, PHPM, Mathison); Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; Faculty of Nursing; Faculty of Kinesiology; Faculty of Social Work; Werklund School of Education; Faculty of Arts (Anthropology, Communication) & Alberta Health Services (PPIH-SCN, MOH, Cancer Epidemiology), all with a strong interest in the area of population health, preventive medicine, and public health.
The purpose of the Population Health and Prevention Research Interest Group is to advance the Institute’s Improved Population Health research theme and contribute toward achieving the portion of the O’Brien Institute vision pertaining to ‘Better Health’.
