Immunization in Alberta
Evidence, equity, action
Immunization in Alberta is a four-part webinar series presented by the Public Health Agency of Canada, O’Brien Institute for Public Health and Alberta Public Health Association. The series will highlight best practices, equity considerations, and opportunities to strengthen vaccine advocacy and policy across health care and public health.
The why behind this webinar series
Alberta is growing while experiencing declining immunization rates, increasing misinformation and an ongoing measles outbreak making this a critical moment for coordinated immunization advocacy and action. The Alberta Public Health Association membership have identified the need for immunization advocacy as its top priority. This webinar series brings together public health, academic and community perspectives to share evidence, best practices and equity-focused strategies to strengthen immunization across Alberta.
