Community Health Sciences / O'Brien Institute seminar series update

Beginning this term, the Department of Community Health Sciences and the O’Brien Institute for Public Health leadership have decided to shift course on how the seminar series is delivered. Instead of alternating Fridays at noon, one seminar will be hosted per month, still over the lunch hour, but now in the form of an expert panel on timely, relevant topics (from Jan. to April), as well as a year-end student-focused research showcase (in late April/early May).

Lunch will also be offered to in-person attendees, and registration will be requested for in-person attendance so that we can account for catering numbers.

This will remain an accredited seminar series. Requests for additional off-cycle seminar presentations will be considered, please contact Mariko Roe (mnroe@ucalgary.ca).
