Opportunities for summer students, trainees, and their supervisors

Summer student programs

W21C is pleased to make their public health-relevant summer student education opportunities available to the trainees of O’Brien members. View the schedule here. 

This summer, ACHRI, The Owerko Centre, HBI, Libin, McCaig and Snyder offer a compelling Summer Student Program. The program consists of a series of eight workshops, a mentorship program, other opportunities and resources, and culminates in a Summer Student Symposium. Please visit the Summer Student Program webpage for details. Regardless of their source of funding, all students are welcome to participate in any or all aspects of the program, which will be offered in an online format from May to August 2022. Summer Student Registration.

One Health Summer Institute 2022: This in-person 2-week summer program for domestic and international students will explore the concept of One Health as a multisectoral, systems-based and collaborative approach to complex problems. This will be a class and field-based program using complex agro-ecological systems as a case study. Learn more.
