Quarantunes: FoN Edition April 27
Quarantunes is our weekly playlist project to share songs that are keeping our UCalgary Nursing Community going.
This week, Sarah Dewell, postdoctoral associate at the Faculty of Nursing shares the key songs that carried her through her academic career from undergraduate student to postdoc.
Sarah completed her doctoral studies with Dr. Karen Benzies and Dr. Carla Ginn in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary. Her studies included an examination of genetic and genomic conceptual knowledge among undergraduate nursing students and faculty, as well as a comprehensive qualitative analysis of attitudes about adding this content to the current curriculum. She is currently a postdoctoral associate with Dr. Sandra Davidson focusing on curriculum innovation and evidence-based nursing education. Sarah co-chairs the International Society of Nurses in Genetics (ISONG) Global Membership Committee and is a member of the Global Genomics Nursing Alliance (G2NA).
